The New Mom & Drew Tradition...

This year Andrew has really taken on a new interest...jogging in The 100 Mile Club at school. Every week, he runs 3-6 miles. His goal is a medal when he reaches 100 Miles. We decided take part in this years Walk for Kids put on by the 100 Mile Club. Andrew and I jogged 5 Miles in 1 hour! This put Andrew at the 75 Mile mark when he went back to school on Monday and he is now in first place for a medal in his class.

Christmas Time...

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went. Every year we excitedly bring out the decorations just before Thanksgiving and then sadly put them away after the new year. It seems like every year, Christmas time gets more fun. Most likely because with each year the kids understand it more and get more excited.

We told the kids, "Santa has installed tiny web cams that monitor children". So they think he really CAN see if they are good or bad. If misbehaving horribly the Santa Night Light got turned on. That was NOT a favorite item this year. Although it was a GREAT behavior incentive for the boys. I am sure next year it will work for Abigail. You gotta love the innocence of children. Which leads me to Andrew... I recently asked Tony how much longer until Andrew found out where the presents really come from. It saddened us to think about it because we realized that he is growing up so fast. They all have grown so fast over the last year.

Every year I take a photo of the kiddos in their holiday garb. Then I compare how much they have grown and how their looks have changed over the past year. Its amazing how fast they change. Even when they are teenagers and will probably roll their eyes and make a loud huffing sigh...I will still take their holiday photo.

Just for Jeremy...

I hate that I let so much time go by before I did Jeremy's birthday post. But sat down this morning and forced myself to take the time Just for Jeremy.
I cant believe he is 3 now. We were watching home videos taken just from last April and he was talking but barely. Amazing how in just 8 months time he is speaking so well and knows his colors, shapes, some spanish words. My little bubby is growing up and not a baby anymore. He is my little hot wheel lover, razor racer, and wrestling crazed kid who is mommy's boy and is very observant of his older brothers actions.

Jeremy is truely a blessing since it took us so long to get pregnant with him. We were told that my uterus was flopped to the left and I may have secondary infertility. Well Jeremy, which means called by God, proved the doctors wrong.

It's All About Andrew...

Andrew recently turned 7. For school last week we had to make a timeline of his life. So after going through the photos and arranging everything, of course I thought to myself what any Mom or Dad would think; Where in the world has the time gone? I can't believe how fast he has grown up. It feels like just yesterday he was born. It is sad that time of his life has gone by, yet exciting that he still has so much ahead of him.
I don't have to tell you that he is one extremely intelligent child. But of course I still like to brag about it. What parent wouldn't? Went to his parent teacher conference recently and the report I received was the best that Andrew has gotten since going to school. This has been a turn around year for him. We are so proud!

Abigail's Chatter...

This week she said a few new words! Of course Mommy's excited. The other day I was pouring some soda in a glass and Jeremy was all excited that there were bubbles on the top of the cup. So after he said "look at the bubbles," Abigail started saying "bubble. bubble. bubble." Yesterday I was folding clothes and she was trying to bounce on my bed. Then the TV caught her eye. There were animals on it (Wonder Pets). Being the animal lover that she is, she got very excited. I was telling her the name of the animal as it came on the screen. She thought the turtle was funny and then said "turtle".
Today I picked up Abigail and told her to say good night to Jeremy because it was naptime. So she waved and said "bah. Nigh. Nigh." Jeremy said, " night night. Love you." Sure enough, Abigail calls back, "love. love." I was over-joyed! Too cute!
